In the history of entertainment Star Wars is one of the most successful and memorial film franchises in the history of entertainment. The first Star Wars film was released to audiences around the world, back in 1977. The original Star Wars was found with a tremendous amount of positive feedback, and it was quite understandable that an eventually would soon be on the way. However, movie reviewer did not realize just how impactful and incredible the Star Wars film franchise would grow to be over the upcoming years.

Since the release of the actual Star Wars film it has been almost 40 years, and the 7th installment of the film franchise is set to launch in movie theaters around the world on December 18th, 2015. Unfortunately if you missed the previous entries of the film series,  iTunes is currently selling all six films within a limited time digital collection edition.

The Digital Movie Collection features the original trilogy and the modern trilogy as well. Each film has been digitally re-mastered and developed to HD video output. Harrison Ford, who performed in the original Star Wars as Han Solo, will be back to his iconic role on December 18th. Ford’s role is one of the most beloved figures in movie history. Revisiting his roots before seeing the new film is a great way to submerge you in the Star Wars universe. iTunes is also now selling the chart topping motion picture soundtrack to the new Star Wars film. The Force Awakens soundtrack is currently on sale for pre-order, and it has been mastered specifically for iTunes. The original motion picture soundtrack would be a great and affordable gift for any huge fan of the Star Wars film series.
